Writer’s Workshop: Life’s Heavenly Moments

*Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop: For this week I had a hard time choosing  just one prompt so I incorporated  two of MamaKat’s prompts in this post.
Part I: Getting Hitched
Our wedding song was Feels Like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk, we chose it since A) we only know how to slow dance and B) We both have never felt more at home anywhere than in each others arms. (Mushy! Ick! Ick!)
Part II: Getting Preggy
“Okay so, 1 stripe means negative and 2 stripes  mean. . . crap. . .uh – oh. . .ooohh. . .aaaaawwwww!”
Part III: Getting Crazy
“How far to heaven? Just open your eyes and look. You are in heaven” -Shankar
Some days I get so tired and stretched out. I climb into bed with complains and worry in my head. I wake up between two sleeping angels and realize I’m closer to heaven than I thought I was.

    Love the way you incorporated 2 prompts into 1! A friend wrote this on her FB wall: "start acknowledging your blessings…you'll realize how blessed you are, and see how small your troubles are." And you've got it spot-on when you said "…realize I'm closer to heaven than I thought I was." Great post.

    By the way, you have a lovely family. 🙂
